Electric Cello Reviews True, price does matter but it isn't everything, a student quality Violin can sound the same as an Orchestral quality instrument when played by professional. My friend owns $4,000 Violin yet he plays like crap(no offense), while I play and teach with a cheap Electric 5-string. Tough there are some poorly built instruments that sound horrible no matter who plays them.
