are you sure? because if you watch a clip that´s called “this old cello” he shows his stradivari there, and it looks alot thinner and its color has a more red tone. maybe it´s just the spotlights that´s making it look brighter

i’m sure it’s the Du Pre cello because i saw this same recording once somewhere else on youtube. the person whose channel it was, in the description said it wasdu Pre’s cello, conductor/husband, and her signature piece.

yeah i think it was really sad how she died so young and everything. she’s still one of the greatest cellists ever though.
